WARRANTY PRIVACY

Trusty Haul (Operating Brand) — TRUST TARILERS LTD (Legal Entity)

Effective Date: 15-07-2025

1) Purpose of This Policy

This Warranty Policy explains what warranty coverage applies to products sold through TrustyHaul.com, what is not covered, and how warranty claims are handled.

Because our products are heavy-duty trailers and transport equipment, warranty coverage depends on:

  • whether the unit is new or used,
  • whether any manufacturer warranty exists, and
  • the unit’s confirmed condition and specifications at the time of sale.

This policy is designed to provide clear expectations, reduce disputes, and ensure customers know exactly what support is available.

2) Definitions (For Clarity)

  • “Unit”: the trailer or transport equipment purchased.
  • “New”: a unit marketed as new and confirmed as new during order confirmation.
  • “Used”: a unit marketed as used, refurbished, or previously owned.
  • “Manufacturer Warranty”: warranty coverage provided directly by the manufacturer (where applicable).
  • “Partner-Sourced Unit”: a unit sourced through a vetted partner company when specific inventory is temporarily unavailable.
  • “Workmanship Issues”: faults caused by assembly or preparation errors, not by customer use or wear.
  • “Normal Wear and Tear”: expected wear from use, age, mileage, loading, weather exposure, brakes, tires, bearings, consumables, and coatings.

3) Warranty Coverage Overview (How Coverage is Determined)

Warranty coverage depends on the classification of the unit at the time of purchase:

A. New Units

New units may include one or more of the following:

  • a manufacturer warranty (if provided by the manufacturer), and/or
  • a limited Trusty Haul warranty as described below (if stated on the listing or invoice)

If a manufacturer warranty applies, the manufacturer may require:

  • registration,
  • service records,
  • or claims submitted through approved service providers.

Trusty Haul will provide reasonable assistance in directing customers to the appropriate warranty route, but manufacturer warranties remain the manufacturer’s responsibility.

B. Used Units

Used units generally have limited warranty coverage because condition varies by prior use and age. Where a Trusty Haul warranty applies to a used unit, it is limited to confirmed condition terms and the scope described in this policy.

Used units are not sold with “like-new” assumptions unless explicitly confirmed in writing.

C. Partner-Sourced Units

Partner-sourced units are confirmed to meet equivalent specification and condition expectations as agreed during order confirmation. Warranty coverage for partner-sourced units depends on:

  • whether a manufacturer warranty exists, and/or
  • whether Trusty Haul provides a limited coverage term as stated on the order documentation.

No warranty is implied solely because a unit is sourced through a partner.

4) Trusty Haul Limited Warranty (If Applicable)

Where expressly stated on the product listing, invoice, or confirmation documents, Trusty Haul may provide a limited warranty covering specific issues identified below.

Coverage (What We Cover)

If a Trusty Haul limited warranty applies, it typically covers:

  • verified structural defects that materially affect safe use (where not caused by misuse)
  • verified preparation/workmanship issues attributable to Trusty Haul prior to delivery
  • verified component faults that were present at delivery and not disclosed during confirmation

Coverage may be repair, replacement of affected parts, or an alternative remedy depending on feasibility and cost.

Coverage Period

If not otherwise stated in writing for a particular unit, the Trusty Haul limited warranty period is:

  • New units: up to 30 days from delivery (limited coverage for confirmed workmanship/condition issues)
  • Used units: up to 14 days from delivery (limited coverage for confirmed condition mismatches only)

Important: Warranty periods can vary by unit type and condition and will be confirmed in order documentation where different.

These timelines are intentionally conservative to remain realistic in freight-based equipment sales.

5) What Is Not Covered (Exclusions)

The following are not covered under any Trusty Haul warranty unless explicitly stated in writing:

  • normal wear and tear (tires, brakes, bearings, lights, paint, coatings, seals, consumables)
  • damage caused by overloading, improper use, unsafe towing, or incorrect coupling
  • damage from accidents, collisions, road debris, or environmental exposure (flood, corrosion, fire, storms)
  • modifications, repairs, or alterations performed by the customer or third parties
  • electrical issues caused by incorrect wiring, connectors, or towing vehicle faults
  • damage caused by improper storage or failure to maintain the unit
  • cosmetic imperfections consistent with used equipment classification
  • transport damage not reported within the damage reporting window (see Section 6)

These exclusions are standard in the trailer and freight equipment industry and are necessary to keep warranty terms fair and enforceable.

6) Delivery Inspection and Damage Reporting (Important)

Because transport can introduce damage, customers should inspect the unit upon delivery.

Reporting Window for Transport Damage

Visible delivery/transport-related damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • photos/video evidence
  • description of the issue
  • order number and delivery details

This is required to verify freight chain accountability and does not change your 30-day return request window under the Return & Refund Policy.

7) How to Make a Warranty Claim

To initiate a claim, email contact@trustyhaul.com with:

  1. order number
  2. unit name/model (as shown on the invoice)
  3. delivery date
  4. description of the issue
  5. clear photos/video evidence
  6. whether the issue impacts safe use or is cosmetic
  7. any supporting documents (service notes, inspection reports, etc.)

We may request additional information, including an inspection report, particularly for structural or mechanical concerns.

8) Claim Review and Resolution Process

After receiving a complete claim:

  • we confirm whether the issue is warranty-eligible
  • we may request an inspection or independent assessment depending on severity
  • we determine a reasonable remedy based on feasibility and operational reality

Possible outcomes may include:

  • repair guidance and approved repair route
  • replacement of specific components (where feasible)
  • partial credit (where appropriate)
  • return authorization (rare and case-dependent, guided by the Return Policy)

Trusty Haul does not promise instant replacements for all cases because freight logistics and unit availability vary.

9) Limitation of Liability (Realistic and Standard)

To the extent permitted by law:

  • Trusty Haul warranty coverage is limited to the remedies described in this policy
  • we are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost business income, downtime, towing vehicle costs, third-party contracts, or consequential damages
  • liability is limited to the amount paid for the product (excluding freight) unless otherwise required by law

This section is important to prevent unrealistic expectations and to protect the business from abusive claims.

10) Relationship Between Warranty, Returns, and Refunds

Warranty coverage and returns are separate concepts:

  • warranty addresses eligible faults within a defined scope
  • returns/refunds are governed by the Return & Refund Policy
  • freight costs and dispatch status affect what remedies are available

Customers should review all policies for full context:

  • Shipping Policy
  • Return & Refund Policy
  • Payment Policy

11) Policy Updates

We may update this policy to reflect changes in product range, operational practices, or legal requirements. The effective date at the top indicates the latest revision.
